As I continue to search the internet for new content and images I keep seeing the name Henrik Bülow. He is an amazing photographer when it comes to every fashion shoot he's asked to do. You may recognize his work from ID Magazine and Hugo Boss. His work is also used in my banner above! I love his work, and could not tab to a new page once I started looking at his website.
So Saturday afternoon is here and I'm barely moving. Friends, Fashion show, after party, after after party. So much! I can barely think of anything witty or moderately entertaining for you to read so I'm going to just show you a new blog that my good friend Claire runs. Follow it because its hot.
Between now and 5:30 these things must be complete. (this is more for me than for you but just think of it as a obnoxious tweet)
-Intern -Post stuff for internship -Print out Boarding Pass -Buy Water and Snacks -Attend 12PM Lunch -Class from 2-4 -Blog for my personal blog -Pack my bags -Clean the Apartment -Head to JFK -Be a Model.
This is part two of my birthday blog post (after 4PM EST).
I went to class and came back to find a lovely note from my friend Emily.
Then I attended The Blend at the Poisson Rouge to hear Jasmine Takanikos speak. I love her and her work, and love working with her. The event was truly "rouge" and a great way to spend part of my birthday night.
And came back to find Starbucks waiting for me at my desk, thanks to Olivia & Sonmin.
Oh and a bag full of LUSH products thanks to my favorite room mates. Thanks David & Orlando!
Shout out to Jalnar for the amazing face mask and the BIRTHDAY KISS-love ya girl!
Then we had a toast and went off to Cafeteria for a late dinner.
While at Cafeteria, another table was getting wild. And when I say wild I mean spilled a bottle of poppers on the table-wild. POPPERS! who the hell brings poppers to Cafeteria!? Anyways dinner was great and I really appreciate all that Orlando and David did.
So overall-the city treated me well. And I had a great birthday. Now going home and getting my runway on.
Good Morning to you! It's my 200th post on Hey It's Matt: A Blog and DAMN does it feel good! It took a lot to get where I am today but I'd like to thank each and every reader for reading! Stay reading because these posts keep getting better and better!
Back to the post:
At the eye-watering time of 9:27 AM, I am awake and trying to stay that way. For in one day I will be a year older, (the age I will not tell you). I'll let you assume or guess, drop me a comment. Anyways for my birthday I believe it's only fair to let the world know what I would like for my birthday. No one in my life (that I know of) are mind readers or dream catchers so this list will suffice. Now, just as a warning this list will be short and have no monetary limits. I'm just a boy trying to enjoy himself!
Welcome to Hey It's Matt: A Blog! As far as the URL it's matt's talkin', not stalkin'. I had a moment and forgot the to add the apostrophe! But if you can handle that then this blog is a piece of cake. Its a composition of me, my life, and things I like! It's my opinion; I'm not hatin', I'm just statin'. So sit back and enjoy the read.
